TYPES OF SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorship can take many different forms:-

  1.  Equipment required to take part: Kart,Trailer,graphics,Helmets, boots,tools,awnings etc
  2. Clothing¨required to take part but also promotional clothing eg.T shirts and  baseball caps etc
  3. Transport and Travel
  4. Coaching fees
  5. Entry fees to competitions.

BENEFITS FOR SPONSOR

  1. Sponsor of clothing and events can be a way of advertising their product and promoting a positive image.  It can work out cheaper than putting adverts in newspapers, television, bill boards or radio.  It is also an advantage if the event or performer is on television.gets newspaper or magazine coverage and webspace
  2. Tax relief – sponsors can claim for any of their sponsoring events against the taxes which they have to pay.  This means that it can actually save them money.
  3. Sport can create the correct and good image for the company. Health and fitness.
  4. Improved sales – the most important aspect. An increase in sales of the company product is what companies want from sponsorship.
  5. Positive publicity
  6. Sponsorship is an investment good relations are forged for the future
