A mixed meeting,I was a bit disapointed tobe taken out in my first two heats.especially when the second was under a yellow flag,but was very happy with 4th place in heat 3(I even led for a lap and a Half)

Again I cant wait to go back

After Some unlucky qualifying I still manage to qualify joint highest novice,but get fired off before the race even starts.I start the race 150 metres  down on the back off the field.By the last lap I’m second novice.Then I get a good run out of turn 3 which sets me up on the inside of turn6 (good advice Dave) to take the Novice lead with half a lap to go!!

August 2008

I was invited to a novice cup televised race, when I turned up there was 7 other novice drivers there.

When I first went out onto track it was really slippy (green track)and I was only able to do 56 second lap-times.

When we  had are practice start (standing) i was starting last and Max  was on pole with NO LEAD !!!!!!

In to the first corner i was into 2nd and right on the bumper off Max I managed to overtake him  but as he was 10kg lighter he overtook me down the straight.

When it came to the real race I was starting 7 th out of 8.

On the start some of the drivers got caught napping and I gained 4 places and on the first lap Max  span and was last .After five laps i had to come in for a pit stop i came in 2nd but Liam stalled in the pit lane bunching everyone up again.After a very impressive pit stop by my dad.I rejoin in 3rd Behind Jack and Aron Campbell (Darren Campbell  the Olympic sprinters son)after 4 laps i caught them.

With half a lap to go i made a lunge down the inside and made the move stick and won the race !!!!

On my victory lap my wheel come of  but i luckily had finished the race .

Jack wins July novice cup against a field of 8 novices,despite a Dnf in Heat 3 I still qualified as 3rd novice

The final doesn't start well with someone stalling in front of me.I dont get to start in my qualifying position and end up starting 25th.but I make my way thrugh the field and finish the day in 14th.A good nresult considering the circumstances.

I cant wait to go back in March

My first ever visit to kimbolton,I really enjoy the track and can,t wait to go back.

A bit of a disapointing Day .The final started well with me making up three places on the first lap.Unfortunately an engine seize put an end to that one.

My first visit to Shennington and my first go in a junior Tkm kart.We didnt expect much but were really pleased to qualify twelth in my First time out .Thanks Les,Haz and Dad for making this happen

My best result ever at redlodge

I am starting to get to grips with this unusual track.A 1st and 2nd in the heats gives me second on the grid for the final.

We arrive on the dummy grid and everybody but me and the polesitter are on wets.Dad say’s try to hold on for a couple of laps untill the grip comes in. I lose a couple of places at the start,but on lap 3 the grip arrives and I move up to second,My kart is definately the fastest on track,I come home in second place 0.07 seconds behind the leader,Another lap or two i could have won.Not bad considering I have been over the weight limit by 3kg all day.
